HGV Driver/Loader in Oadby

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Waste Services team.

The role will be based at the council’s depot, and you will be working with a team that strives to deliver a great service to its residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Council HGV for refuse, recycling and garden waste collections.
• Handle other waste streams on ad hoc collection rounds.
• Encourage recycling and provide support to residents on waste disposal matters.
• Maintain a “can do” attitude and work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• HGV Driving Licence.
• Experience driving a Council HGV for refuse and recycling collections.
• Customer‑focused mindset and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
