We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Waste Team. The role will be based at the Council's Depot, and you will be working with a team who strives to deliver a great service to its residents. We are based in Oadby and this part of Leicestershire is a great place to live, work and visit.

Our council is a great organisation to work for, we offer a competitive salary and fantastic benefits including great holiday, and the generous local government pension scheme. The Waste and Recycling team manages the delivery of our household, recycling, bulky waste, and the forthcoming food waste service.

The Assistant Operations Manager (Waste) will oversee this service and support the O-Licence holder to ensure full compliance across our fleet operations. If you have extensive experience in a similar role, a good knowledge of legal requirements in Waste/Health & Safety and a ‘can do’ attitude we would love to hear from you.
