We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Council Tax team. Choose a career with great benefits and flexible working. Agile working allows employees to work flexibly to balance their home and work needs with a minimum of one day in the office per week. We are based in the beautiful Brocks Hill country park in Oadby and this part of Leicestershire is a great place to live, work and visit.

The Council Tax Team are responsible for administering Council Tax, ensuring the accurate and prompt billing, collection and recovery of accounts.

The Council Tax Officer will undertake responsibilities including obtaining and assessing information to determine Council Tax liability in accordance with legislation. This includes determination and allowance of discounts, reliefs and exemptions.

If you have experience of working with customers, have excellent communication skills and can prioritise your own workload to meet set targets and deadlines, we would love to hear from you.
