We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our Benefits team.

We are based in the beautiful Brocks Hill country park in Oadby, and this part of Leicestershire is a great place to live, work and visit. Agile working allows employees to work flexibly to balance their home and work needs with a minimum of one day in the office per week.

The Benefits Team are responsible for delivering all aspects of our Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support and Discretionary Payments Service.

The Benefits Assessor will work as part of a small team, being a key contact for technical queries and make decisions on entitlements to Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support and Discretionary Payments.

If you have recent experience of working as a Benefits Assessor and experience of using MRI Revenue & Benefits Systems to process claims for housing benefit and council tax support, are performance driven to process claims promptly, are able to organise and prioritise workloads and have used an electronic document management system to assess claims, we would love to hear from you.
