We are looking for a talented individual to join our Licensing team.

We are based in the beautiful Brocks Hill Country Park in Oadby, and this part of Leicestershire is a great place to live, work, and visit. Agile working allows employees to work flexibly to balance their home and work needs. Employees are expected to work in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week. We are supportive of flexible working arrangements where possible and encourage you to discuss this with us during the selection process.

The Licensing team is responsible for licensing premises under the Licensing Act 2003 for the sale of alcohol and entertainment, late night refreshments, and street trading, along with the licensing of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire drivers and vehicles. They are also responsible for licensing premises under the Gambling Act.

The Licensing and Enforcement Team Leader will manage the licensing service while maintaining a caseload in relation to licensing services. They will also be the first point of contact to customers for all licensing queries, including visiting premises in the borough when required.
