The Sales Trainer will design, deliver, and manage training programs that develop sales capability across Oadby Plastics, ensuring consistency, structure, and continuous improvement. This role equips new and existing staff with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to achieve sales excellence. The role will require you to spend time at our branches and sister companies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions for new starters and existing sales staff.
- Develop structured training materials, guides, and tools aligned to company objectives.
- Monitor and assess trainee progress using agreed frameworks.
- Coach and support managers to maintain consistency in sales development.
- Collaborate with L&D and senior leadership to align training with strategy.
- Identify skills gaps and create targeted training solutions.
- Maintain accurate training records and progress reports.
- Introduce best practice sales techniques and tools into the business.
- Support the integration of account management training into sales development.
- Continuously update content to reflect market and business changes.
- Adhere to all QHSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe, efficient and compliant environment.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by the company.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Act consistently and follow Oadby's core Vision, Mission and Value.
