We are supporting a well‑established, professional organisation that prides itself on delivering a high level of service to its customers and visitors. They offer a welcoming working environment and are now looking for a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for their business.

Duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers
  • Answer and redirect incoming calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Welcome guests, manage the visitor log and issue passes where required
  • Monitor and respond to emails in the general inbox
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
  • Book meeting rooms and ensure they are ready for use
  • Keep the reception area tidy and presentable at all times
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team (filing, scanning, data entry)
  • Assist with ad‑hoc tasks as required to support the smooth running of the office

  • Previous experience in a reception, front‑of‑house or customer‑facing administrative role
  • A professional, courteous and confident telephone manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and switchboard/phone systems
