We are an established and respected engineering manufacturing company seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist Engineer for a hands-on role. The position involves manufacturing various stainless-steel components for our proprietary food processing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct valued engineering practices within the factory environment.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, discipline, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Create and implement productivity improvements through equipment or policy enhancements, leveraging your knowledge and experience for the benefit of the company.

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Qualifications or an apprenticeship in Engineering are advantageous but not mandatory if you possess at least 4 years of machining experience.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with scheduled breaks: a 10-minute break from 10:00 am to 10:10 am and a 30-minute lunch break from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
  • Specific shift timings: Wednesday/Thursday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm / 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm; Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 pm (overtime possible).
  • Overtime is generally available and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate, including Saturday mornings.
  • Your pay rate depends on your experience.
