Role: Van Driver (3.5T)

Pay Rate: £13.50 an hour, weekly pay

OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Van Driver to join a well established company based in Shefford, within the Events Industry.
This is a varied role supporting the delivery and collection of event equipment across multiple locations. You’ll be working as part of a two-person team alongside a Driver’s Mate, ensuring all items are delivered safely, professionally and on time.
Please note — this is not a fixed-shift role and flexibility is essential due to the nature of the events industry, including early starts, later finishes and weekend working.
Duties of a Van Driver:
- Driving a 3.5T vehicle to event locations
- Loading and unloading event equipment in teams of two
- Delivering and collecting chairs, tables and event hire products
- Ensuring safe handling and transport of equipment
- Providing excellent customer service onsite
- Working flexibly around changing delivery schedules and event requirements
What we would like from you:
- Full UK Driving Licence (3.5T)
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Strong teamwork skills
- Previous delivery or event experience beneficial but not essential
