Role: Reach Truck Driver
Location: Flitwick
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00AM – 17:30PM, Fridays 14:45PM
Salary: Up to £31,500 per annum, depending on experience.
Must Drive due to location
OA are currently working with a well established, family owned client based in Flitwick, currently looking to recruit for an experienced Reach Truck Driver, to join the team.
Duties of a Reach Truck Driver:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with MHE.
- Ability to operate PPT/ Forklift (reach truck and counterbalance)
- Occasional admin/office based responsibilities.
- Picking & packing orders for despatch ensuring a high level of accuracy using hand held scanners.
- Manage stock and prepare transfers for loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
- Operate within tightknit team of operatives and liaise with other departments.
- Ability to move between departments production/bulk/Ecommerce.
- Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards
What we would like from you:
- Previous experience within a Warehouse environment
- MUST have a Reach Truck Licence
- Counterbalance, PPT, VNA is preferred also
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to do heaving lifting and loading
- Flexible with working hours and overtime
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- WMS experience essential
- Organised, pro-active & positive attitude.
