The role of Store Manager:
- Take charge of stock, deliveries and pricing and control stock markdowns
- Motivate and manage Sales Advisors to achieve sales and profit targets
- Plan and implement shop merchandising to maximise sales and enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage cash and payment systems in line with company policies, ensuring profitability through cost control
- Recruit, train and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance with HR procedures
The ideal Store Manager:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a retail environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Based in Ashford, Kent — approximately 25 minutes' walk from the train station.
