Offering a highly motivated, methodical, and organised Project Manager an opportunity to join a leading Farringdon based Furniture Consultancy predominantly within the workplace sector. The talented individual will join with experience in delivering high end furniture & joinery projects, as well as dealing with Mid to High-End New Build Contractors, Developers, builders on and off-site.
The Project Manager will join their well-established Operations and Projects team to support the efforts of the sales team who are promoting their products and solutions to an array of high profile clients, contractors and developers.
To ensure Projects are managed in line with Company policies and that contractual obligations are fully recognised and met:
- Ensure sub-contract personnel on site are effectively managed in line with all health and safety policies and that due diligence and best practice is used throughout.
- To mitigate financial risk to the business. This role will ensure the contracted Scope of Works is completed within the time allocated and delivered to a budget.
- Recording all delays and maintaining all product documentation (Delays or threats to Scope, Time or Budget).
- To have financial accountability, ensuring decisions are made with knowledge of all commercial implications to both client and the business.
- Reducing sub-contract costs through rigorous management and following processes.
Skills:
- High energy and driven to achieve goals.
- Organised and have the ability to cope well under pressure.
- Ability to work as a team is absolutely critical.
- To be a conductor of the project engaging with many different departments and personnel.
- Ability to communicate well with others and present extremely well in front of high-level management both internally and externally.
- Excellent IT skills including Excel and Microsoft Project software.
- CSCS- Gold Card/Black card in Site Management, SMSTSCSCS Operative Card.
Knowledge:
- Contract Furniture, Joinery Project Management Experience.
- Have the ability to understand technical information, and be familiar with manufacturing.
- Must have experience in package management.
- The successful Candidate must possess a good understanding of management build programmes.
- Have specific, detailed or proven working knowledge of accounts with Contractors, Architects, Interior Designers etc.
