CSCS General Labourer - Stafford

O'Neill & Brennan is currently recruiting for a General Labourer to start work on a busy construction site in the Stafford.

Working hours are from 7:30am to 6.00PM - Monday to Friday. (This could be subject to change on site). Ongoing must be a car driver with a driving licence due to the location. Must be able to pass the BPSS check.

All applicants MUST have CSCS Card and labourering experience minimum of 1 year. Must be prepared to do a full BSPP Clearance and asbestos Awareness certificate. Must be able to communicate with the site manager to obtain daily tasks. You Will need to provide work history/references for at least 5 years.

General Labourer duties:

• Assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites.
• Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision.
• Follow site safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Support skilled tradespeople as required, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Report any hazards or safety concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
• Be able to pass the BSPP Clerence
• Must have Asbestos Awareness

BPSS CHECK - PLEASE READ BEFORE WE SUBMIT YOU

Before we arrange your BPSS check, please make sure you can provide the following:

• Valid ID - passport or acceptable identity document
• Right to Work - UK passport or valid Home Office status/share code
• Employment history - details of your jobs for the required period, including employer names and start/finish dates - minimum 5 years
• Address history - previous addresses and dates you lived there - minimum 5 years
• Previous names - details of any previous names/surnames, if applicable
• Overseas history - details of any periods you have lived/worked outside the UK
• Criminal record declaration - you must be able to complete this honestly and accurately

IMPORTANT: Please do not ask us to start the BPSS check if you cannot provide the above information. Incomplete information can cause delays or prevent the check from being completed.

To be successful the candidate must have:

• CSCS Card
• PPE (This can be provided if required)
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
• Full DBS check and references required
• Must be a Car Driver
