Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager (No.1) to provide short-term cover on a live residential development. This is a key leadership role, responsible for maintaining site operations, ensuring programme adherence, and upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and build quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility as No.1 on site during the cover period
- Oversee day-to-day site operations on a live housing development
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate trades effectively
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management
- Maintain high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
- Liaise with NHBC, inspectors
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager on residential developments (volume housebuilding preferred)
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
