We are currently recruiting for an experienced Slinger to join a busy construction site on a new-build residential development. This is an on-going opportunity offering consistent work for the right candidate.

Job Details

  • Project: Residential/Historic redevelopment
  • Duration: On going
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday: Full days
  • Start: End of July 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely directing crane operations and lifting activities
  • Attaching and securing loads in line with lifting plans
  • Communicating clearly with crane operators and site teams
  • Recording the arrival of site deliveries accurately
  • Assisting with the banking and safe movement of plant and site deliveries
  • Ensuring all lifts and deliveries are carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations
  • Maintaining a safe working environment at all times

Requirements

  • Valid Slinger/Signaller (Banksman) ticket (essential)
  • Previous experience working on construction sites
  • Experience recording deliveries and banking plant movements
  • Strong awareness of site safety procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual
