O’Neill and Brennan are currently working with a well-established general contractor who operate across the residential, commercial, education and healthcare sectors. They are seeking to hire an Estimator to join their pre-construction team due to a growing secured pipeline of work across London and the Home Counties. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive commercial and pre-construction team, working closely alongside experienced senior management on a range of projects across multiple sectors.
Role Overview
- Project Sectors: Residential, Commercial, Education & Healthcare
- Locations: London
- Rate: £60,000 – £75,000 (Depending on experience)
- Start: ASAP but can wait for the right person
- Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Preparing cost plans, estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations
- Supporting the pre-construction and commercial teams throughout the tender process
- Contribute to the successful delivery of competitive and accurate bids
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry
- Experience working for a main contractor preferred
- Good understanding of construction processes and tendering procedures
- Able and willing to commute to London and attend projects/meetings as required
