Job Description
Your role as Plant Logistics Lead is to coordinate, regulate and monitor all aspects of warehouse management and distribution/transport management. You will act as a contract manager and be the face of O-I with our 3PL’s. You will be accountable for the receiving, documenting and temporary warehousing of packaging components, storage of finished goods and collection of empty returnable packaging from customers.
- Ensure strict adherence to O-I’s Health and Safety policy, on site quality standards and SOP’s.
- Monitoring the service of the 3PL in line with the contract KPI.
- Support a 24/7/365 operation with a team of over 50, managing the service of the 3PL in line with the contract KPI.
- Develop, review and implement action plans with the 3PL to increase and drive performance improvement.
- Ensure that the operation is aligned with business needs, including continuous improvement initiatives, cost efficiency and labour allocation.
