Mould shop fitter/ Machinist is responsible for inspections, repairs, adjustments and maintenance of mould kit and related equipment. You also will be involved in machining tasks on manual/ CNC lathes and milling machines.

You should have:

  • Experience in machining parts using lathes and milling machines (CNC experience will be beneficial but full training will be provided)
  • Experience utilizing hand and power tools, including but not limited to grinder, drill press, caliper, micrometer, protractor, gauges, wrenches, chisels, files and scrapers

You will:

  • Inspect all mould parts and repair back to spec
  • Carry out machining tasks using mastercam
  • Lays out work, makes set-ups, operates shop floor equipment and machine tools to repair or make required parts.

Qualifications:

  • Time served in a mechanical engineering discipline
