Mould shop fitter/ Machinist is responsible for inspections, repairs, adjustments and maintenance of mould kit and related equipment. You also will be involved in machining tasks on manual/ CNC lathes and milling machines.
You should have:
- Experience in machining parts using lathes and milling machines (CNC experience will be beneficial but full training will be provided)
- Experience utilizing hand and power tools, including but not limited to grinder, drill press, caliper, micrometer, protractor, gauges, wrenches, chisels, files and scrapers
You will:
- Inspect all mould parts and repair back to spec
- Carry out machining tasks using mastercam
- Lays out work, makes set-ups, operates shop floor equipment and machine tools to repair or make required parts.
Qualifications:
- Time served in a mechanical engineering discipline

- From £17.02 per hour, increasing with qualifications
