Responsibilities:
- Process and record goods in and goods out using internal stock and production systems.
- Load and unload deliveries from couriers and lorries.
- Move stock, materials, and equipment safely around the warehouse using pump trucks and other handling equipment.
- Maintain clean, tidy, and organised work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Carry out additional warehouse duties appropriate to the role.
This client requires a candidate with extensive warehouse experience including picking, packing, goods in, goods out, and much more. You will require goods in/out experience for this role in a warehouse environment and be competent in using computer systems.
Salary: £12.71 per hour, holiday pay, PAYE.
Contract Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am until 5:30pm. This role will be working within the Goods In/Out area of the department, mainly logging stock that comes in/out of the warehouse. Potential picking/packing experience in Shopify is desirable. You may also be required to support with putting away of stock, handling completed products, new products, and much more!
Skills/Experience required:
- Experience in goods in/out and stock control within a busy warehouse environment.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling tasks.
- Able to work under pressure and meet client-specific deadlines.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to work independently.
