This role involves operating and maintaining a range of digital cutting tables, including Kongsberg C64, C24, XP24 and Elitron Kombo TAV, with two of these machines being fully automated systems.
What the role of CAD Operator involves:
- Setting up and operating digital cutting machines, including fully automated systems
- Taking responsibility for the smooth running of production on the night shift
- Working with a variety of materials (e.g. corrugated, board, plastics, vinyl)
- Monitoring quality and making adjustments where required
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
- Proven experience with Kongsberg or similar cutting tables
- Be comfortable reading job specs and working with CAD/CAM-style layouts
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the night shift operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude, motivated, willingness to learn and bring their own knowledge and experience to the team
