Nzime is looking for a Senior Digital Designer with strong UX/UI capability and a sharp instinct for solving problems through design. You’ll bring clarity, confidence and a drive to create work that makes a difference – shaping ideas and delivering high-quality digital experiences within a small team.

The Role

  • Turn briefs into clear, intuitive digital experiences
  • Contribute to discovery — including audits, research and workshops
  • Create and drive UX outputs including sitemaps, wireframes and user journeys
  • Design considered UI, from concept through to design systems
  • Prepare work for build and collaborate closely with developers
  • Present ideas clearly and confidently to clients and internally
  • Push creative thinking and elevate the quality of ideas
  • Scope and estimate work with accuracy
  • Own delivery from concept through to completion
  • Review work, give feedback and uphold high creative standards
  • Apply a strong understanding of brands to communicate clear, effective propositions
  • Contribute to Nzime’s marketing and social
  • Support video work, from storyboards to light post‑production

About you

  • Design is how you think, not just what you do.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a design role, ideally within an agency
  • Strong UX/UI capability with the ability to turn ideas into clear, effective experiences
  • Confident leading projects and making informed decisions
  • Able to move seamlessly from UX thinking into refined UI
  • Strong understanding of design principles
  • Clear understanding of how design translates into frontend
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and internal teams
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Detail‑focused, organised and consistent in your approach
  • Confident using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Commercially aware – you understand scope, time and value
  • Proactive, curious and motivated to improve
  • Brings ideas, challenge thinking and push for better outcomes
  • Experience across digital, with exposure to brand, motion and occasional print
  • Invested in the success of the team and the wider business
