The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.

We are seeking a stockperson/farm labourer for our 300 sow indoor/outdoor pig farm, which is located 3/4 hour drive from Christchurch.

The work is interesting and varied, with plenty of variety.

The person we seek should have the following:

  • Good team player but also be able to work independently
  • Be reliable
  • Good time management
  • Have good stock handling skills and be able to maintain our high levels of stock welfare and farm biosecurity
  • Be happy to work both indoors and outside in all weathers
  • Be a self-starter.

Duties will include:

  • Stock handling and feeding
  • Ai mating
  • Pen and paddock maintenance
  • Feed milling and feed preparations
  • Tractor driving
  • Other farm duties as required.
