We are seeking a stockperson/farm labourer for our 300 sow indoor/outdoor pig farm, which is located 3/4 hour drive from Christchurch.
The work is interesting and varied, with plenty of variety.
The person we seek should have the following:
- Good team player but also be able to work independently
- Be reliable
- Good time management
- Have good stock handling skills and be able to maintain our high levels of stock welfare and farm biosecurity
- Be happy to work both indoors and outside in all weathers
- Be a self-starter.
Duties will include:
- Stock handling and feeding
- Ai mating
- Pen and paddock maintenance
- Feed milling and feed preparations
- Tractor driving
- Other farm duties as required.

Remuneration will depend on experience and ability.
