We are looking for a Manual Quality Assurance Tester with strong experience testing native mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms. This is a 100% manual testing role (no automation required) where you'll work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality mobile releases.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with mobile testing, API validation, defect management, regression testing, and is comfortable working in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of native iOS and Android applications.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
  • Create detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
  • Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA.
  • Validate APIs using Postman and Charles Proxy.
  • Test builds locally on physical iOS and Android devices.
  • Install and validate production/test builds using Firebase (or similar distribution tools).
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and release activities.
  • Verify fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality product delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Manual QA experience.
  • Strong experience testing native mobile applications on both iOS and Android .
  • Hands‑on API testing experience using Postman .
  • Experience using Charles Proxy for network traffic analysis and debugging.
  • Experience creating and managing defects in JIRA .
  • Strong regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing experience.
  • Understanding of GitHub repositories and basic Git workflows.
  • Experience testing applications locally on physical iOS and Android devices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience using AI tools to write test cases.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Firebase App Distribution for installing and testing builds.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as:
  • Jenkins
  • CircleCI
  • Understanding of mobile application release processes.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini) to:
  • Generate test cases
  • Improve test coverage
  • Assist with bug analysis
  • Increase QA productivity
  • Experience working with mobile logs and debugging tools.
