Key Responsibilities
- Undertake technical support and research in delivering tax services as directed to meet client needs liaising with relevant Manager.
- Prepare personal tax returns for review by Manager.
- Undertake basic tax planning, projects, compliance matters and deal with client queries.
- Draft correspondence to clients for review by Manager.
- Obtain an understanding of the principles of residency, ordinary residency and domicile, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and understand the taxation of death estates and trusts.
- Undertake the delivery of the complete tax computation and return for typical straightforward companies ready for review by a Manager.
- Take responsibility for compliance administration and quarterly and year-end processes.
- Work in collaboration with the team to share knowledge and ideas to assist in the communication and achievement of team goals.
- Start to develop profile and build knowledge in a specific area of technical expertise.
- Engage positively with the business and advocate the firmβs values.
- Take responsibility for own personal and professional behaviour.
- Actively progress own learning and development.
- Act with honesty and integrity in all dealings with clients, contacts and colleagues whilst respecting confidentiality and building trust.

Technical, Training and Skills Levels
- Qualified ATT and beginning stages of CTA (ideal but not essential).
- Appropriate experience within relevant tax discipline at this level (3-5 years).
- Develop good technical and compliance knowledge and skills and develop an area of expertise with support.
