We have an exciting opportunity to join the firm as an Accounts Senior.
Are you ACA or ACCA qualified with 3–5 years of experience? Have you worked with clients in the entertainment sector? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, review and assist with bookkeeping and maintenance of clients’ accounting records.
- Review and assist with the preparation of VAT returns, preparation of accounts sole traders,
partnerships and limited companies. - Review and assist with the preparation of management accounts including budgets, forecasts and cash
flow statements. - Review and assist with the prepare of corporation tax computations, including deferred tax calculations,
and Forms P11D. - Assist with other client services including business management and ad hoc assignments including
analysis and investigation work. - Review of business contracts and agreements.
- Have good knowledge of personal and corporation tax rules.
- Communicate with the team to ensure client and Director/Partner expectations are met on delivery and
accuracy of work. - Maintain and develop client service and relationships.
- Review work of trainees and give constructive feedback.
- Manage time effectively to complete multiple tasks to appropriate deadlines.
- Liaise with other departments to efficiently and effectively complete jobs.
- Acts with honesty, fairness and integrity in all dealings with clients, contacts and colleagues whilst
respecting confidentiality and building trust. - Has experience with business management and accounts.
Technical, Training and Skill Levels
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- 3 to 5 years solid experience with background in a UK accountancy practice.
- Good technical and compliance skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills including proficiency with Excel.
- Has experience working on QuickBooks or Xero.
- CaseWare accounting software (training will be provided).
- Maintains high standards of professional conduct and practice.
- Build relationships with peers internally and externally.
