NYKays Recruitment Ltd is looking for experienced ASD Teaching Assistants to start in the academic year 2026/27. This long-term role may lead to a permanent position.
Key Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with learning difficulties, especially autism.
- At least three months as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant.
- Commitment to supporting children with special educational needs.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours and adapt to individual needs.
- Must be an enthusiastic team player with patience.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special needs.
- Assist teachers with teaching and learning.
- Support colleagues with personal care tasks.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment in line with school policies.
