NYKays Recruitment Ltd is looking for experienced ASD Teaching Assistants to start in the academic year 2026/27. This long-term role may lead to a permanent position.

Key Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with learning difficulties, especially autism.
  • At least three months as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant.
  • Commitment to supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours and adapt to individual needs.
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player with patience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special needs.
  • Assist teachers with teaching and learning.
  • Support colleagues with personal care tasks.
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment in line with school policies.
