We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and committed Football Coach to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will lead the development and management of a junior/youth football team, delivering high-quality training sessions and coaching in the evenings and weekends. The coach will also take the team for matches on a Sunday. This is an exciting opportunity to work with young players and help shape their sporting journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured training sessions two/three evenings per week and twice on a weekend
- Coach and manage the team during Sunday matchdays
- Manage team admin via group chats and various apps
- Foster a positive, respectful, and disciplined team environment
- Support the development of each player's skills, fitness, and confidence
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club management
- Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Essential Requirements:
- UEFA C Licence (minimum)
- Experience coaching young players (preferably within grassroots or academy environments)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends consistently
- Must be able to drive or reliably commute to training and match venues
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- First Aid and Safeguarding Children certifications
- Experience coaching within a club or community setting
- Flexible and adaptable coaching style
Location: East London & Essex
Hours: Evenings (3x per week) + Sundays (match day)
Salary: £15 – £35 per session (dependent on experience and qualifications)
