ASD Teaching Assistants – South East London
Location: London (South East London)
Daily Rate: £103.81
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (Day-to-Day or Long-Term)
NYKays Recruitment Ltd is urgently recruiting ASD Teaching Assistants to work in SEN schools across South East London. Roles are available for both day-to-day supply and long-term contracts with the potential for permanent opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with ASD and additional SEN
- Assist teachers with classroom learning and behaviour management
- Support personal care needs where required
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 months\’ experience working with ASD/SEN children
- Strong behaviour management skills and calm under pressure
- Confident working 1:1 or in small groups
- Energetic, patient, and proactive team player
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
