We’re seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist a young adult with autism in his own home. The role involves supporting him to live independently and enjoy a fulfilling life, both at home and in the community.
The contract is for 21.75 hours (day) a week and 8 hours (sleep).
Rota (shift schedule)
- Wk1: Sunday 8am‑10pm (sleep 10pm‑8am)
- Wk2: Sunday 8am‑10pm (sleep 10pm‑8am)
- Wk3: Thursday 8am‑5pm; Saturday 8am‑10pm (sleep 10pm‑8am)
- Wk4: Monday 8am‑10pm; Friday 8am‑10pm (sleep 10pm‑8am)
Permanent position — 21.75 daytime hours and 1 × 8 hour sleepover, also available hours to cover holidays and sickness.
Duties
- Duties include personal support, meal preparation, light domestic tasks, and engaging in leisure activities such as cycling, outings, and games.
