A Relief/Bank Support Worker with a mature and professional attitude is required to help and support a young man with Autism, who has challenging behaviour. The successful applicant must be age appropriate to work with the young man, it is essential that you are a non-smoker and have a full clean Driving Licence.

The hours for relief work are on an ‘as and when’ basis, to help cover holidays and sickness of other staff members. The hours are 8am till 12am, the day shift finishes at 10pm which is followed by 2 hours on-call basis in the staff room as an ‘if needed’, all paid at the hourly day rate of £15.65. The sleepover hours from 12am till 8am are paid at £8.72 per hour (£69.76).

The young man would like to remain independent in his own home and enjoy a fulfilling life. He enjoys the outdoors, cycling, going out on social visits, and staying at home playing games and watching TV. He will also require support with meals, laundry, and light domestic chores.
