A Child Support Assistant is required for 12 hours per week (school holidays only) to support and entertain an 11-year-old autistic boy with some fun activities. The days/times are fairly flexible and to be discussed at interview level.

The activities include taking him to the beach, surfing, swimming, for walks, playground etc. He loves the outdoors! Ensuring his safety at all times is crucial. The young boy is PEG fed.

A DBS is essential for this position. SEN trained or experience with children & autism would be ideal. A car owner is essential for this position, due to the location of the boy’s home in Seamer near Scarborough.

The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour.
