A Personal Support Assistant is required for flexible respite care for a 49 year old gentleman who has learning disabilities and mild dementia. The gentleman has 28 days and 28 sleepovers per year allocated. It will be required that the gentleman would stay in the PA’s home (adult only environment), which will be mutually agreed prior to each stay, to allow his foster carers respite and holiday time.
His interests are walking, music, pubs, restaurants, and animals.
The rate of pay is £13.25 per daytime hour and £87.20 per 10 hour sleepover. There is a mileage allowance of 45p per mile whilst the gentleman is in the car.
A DBS is required for this position.
