We are looking for a Fun, Bubbly Female Support Assistant/Companion to support a 17 year old young woman with her social activities. The young woman is autistic and has sensory issues and requires encouragement and support with socialising.

The 6 hours are flexible depending on activity and usually to be split into 2 x 3 hour shifts which can be discussed at interview level. The PA would start on a trial basis to ensure they are the right person for the job.

The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour with 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata).

The young lady’s interests are: going shopping, cinema, pottery painting etc.

A car driver with a clean UK driving licence would be an advantage but not essential, as public transport can be used. References and an Enhanced DBS is required before employment could start.

Exception Under The Equality Act (2010) - the post is only open to female applicants due to the personal assistance required.
