A Relief Support Assistant is required to join a team of Personal Assistants/Support Workers who support a 33‑year‑old autistic gentleman to become more independent in life skills and to access community activities. This role is an ad‑hoc position covering holidays and sickness of other staff.
Responsibilities
- The assistant will provide support with all aspects of personal care, dressing, meal preparation, medication management, and assist the gentleman during outings such as cinema, bowling, socialising and day trips.
- The role also involves planning and supporting adventurous mini‑breaks and holidays.
Hours
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (2:1 support)
- Evening and night shifts
- Holiday / respite cover
Pay
- £15.00 per hour (£22.50 bank holiday rate).
