Youth Befriender volunteer – Leominster, Herefordshire
Would you like to make a difference to a young person\’s life? This role is open to anyone across Herefordshire.
Our company is looking for volunteers of all ages and from all walks of like to be part of our Herefordshire Independent Visiting service.
You will need to be able to drive and have access to a car and to be able to make a minimum of 2 years commitment.
Volunteers visit their young person monthly and take them out to enjoy a pre planned activity together such as; (bowling, football, park, visiting new places – whatever the yp and the volunteer would enjoy doing). Just to have fun
All your expenses are reimbursed and you will receive training and have 1-1 support.
If you are able to spare a few hours once a month for a minimum of 2 years, and enjoy the company of young people and be able to have fun, this could be the role for you.
