NXTGEN are delighted to be supporting a well-established manufacturing business in the search for a Temporary Finance Business Partner. This role offers the opportunity to join a fast-paced operational environment where finance plays a key role in supporting commercial decision-making and driving performance. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight and analysis to support ongoing projects and business objectives. This is an initial temporary assignment expected to last 6 months, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational and non-finance stakeholders to support business performance
  • Provide meaningful analysis of financial results, trends and key performance indicators
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities
  • Deliver accurate management information to aid commercial decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and operational performance
  • Challenge assumptions and provide financial guidance to support strategic initiatives
  • Assist with month-end reporting and variance analysis
  • Support ongoing projects across the manufacturing operation

The Successful Candidate

You will be an experienced Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or Finance Manager with the ability to build strong relationships across the business and influence decision-making. Candidates will ideally demonstrate:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and business partnering skills
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
  • The ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification (or qualified by experience)
