NXTGEN is pleased to be working with a well-known and highly reputable business based in King's Lynn, who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the financial and strategic direction of a thriving organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts for submission to auditors.
- Oversee the preparation and control of annual budgets and cost models.
- Manage cash flow, payroll, pensions, and company insurance policies.
- Oversee the preparation of bi-annual royalty reports.
- Lead and manage the Administration Department, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control functions.
- Ensure compliance with company taxation obligations, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.
The successful Finance Manager will be qualified to at least AAT level and have previous experience in a similar managerial role. Alternatively, candidates with relevant accountancy qualifications and experience looking to progress into a commercial management position will also be considered. You must have strong leadership skills, a proven track record of achieving financial targets, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Advanced Excel skills and strong IT proficiency are essential for this role.
