Responsibilities
- Managing the bookkeeping requirements for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and completing regular bank reconciliations.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Supporting clients with month end bookkeeping and management reporting.
- Visiting clients where required to provide on site bookkeeping support.
- Developing strong relationships with clients and becoming their first point of contact for bookkeeping queries.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and introduce more efficient ways of working.
- Supporting the continued growth of the firm's bookkeeping services.
About You
- Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally gained within an accountancy practice or another client focused environment.
- Confident managing your own workload and prioritising multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build long lasting client relationships.
- A proactive approach with a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books or Sage.
