Job Description
The Financial Accountant will support statutory reporting and audit delivery, ensuring accurate and compliant financial statements. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to work effectively in a pressured, audit-driven environment. \\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nPreparation and support of statutory financial statements\\n\\nSupporting internal and external audit activity and responding to audit queries\\n\\nDelivery of accurate month-end and year-end financial processes\\n\\nProviding financial insight to support strategic decision-making\\n\\nEnsuring value for money through strong commercial awareness\\n\\nBuilding effective working relationships with senior stakeholders\\n\\nUsing Excel to analyse, reconcile and present financial data\\n\\nIdentifying issues and resolving problems independently\\n\\nEssential Experience & Skills\\n\\nFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, Or CIMA) \\n\\nMinimum 3 years' post-qualification experience\\n\\nPrior experience preparing and/or auditing central government or comparable public sector financial statements\\n\\nProven audit experience\\n\\nStrong Excel capability\\n\\nConfident communicator with credibility at senior level\\n\\nAbility to work under own initiative and deliver outcomes\\n\\nPro-active, resilient and results-focused approach\\n\\nThis role is inside of IR35, and you must be able to commute to London a minimum of 2 times a week.
