As Corporate Tax Senior, you will become an integral part of the tax team, taking responsibility for the delivery of corporate tax compliance work while supporting wider advisory projects as your experience develops. Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the corporate tax compliance requirements for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparing Corporation Tax Computations and Returns for a range of businesses, from smaller owner managed companies through to larger corporate groups
  • Preparing tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations, proof of tax computations, and tax disclosures for audit assignments
  • Supporting the delivery of corporate tax advisory projects alongside senior members of the team
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, becoming a trusted point of contact
  • Liaising with colleagues across audit and accounts teams to ensure a seamless service is delivered to clients
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
  • Assisting with technical research and staying up to date with changes in tax legislation
  • Contributing positively to the collaborative and supportive culture of the team
What We're Looking For
  • Ideally 2 to 3 years' experience within Corporate Tax gained in a UK accountancy practice
  • Experience preparing Corporation Tax Computations and Returns
  • Exposure to tax accounting, deferred tax, and tax provisions would be advantageous
  • Experience with CCH would be beneficial, although not essential
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Positive and proactive approach to work
  • A desire to continue developing your technical knowledge and progress your career within tax
