As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial data across multiple entities. You will be instrumental in supporting business-wide financial planning and maintaining compliance with reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Maintain detailed supporting documentation for all financial reports to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit materials and liaise with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations to ensure financial consistency.
- Provide financial insights and data to support strategic decision-making across different business units.
- Support department managers with financial planning, cost analysis, and performance reporting.
- Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets in collaboration with senior finance leaders.
- Act as a point of contact for finance-related queries within the team, providing guidance on financial processes and best practices.
The Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong experience in management accounting.
