Overview
NXT Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful and growing business to recruit an Internal Sales Executive.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning team where you'll play a key role in driving business growth by developing new customer relationships and managing existing accounts. Working within a fast-paced B2B environment, you'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating new business, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
This role would suit an ambitious sales professional with a proven B2B sales background who enjoys building relationships, working towards targets, and being proactive in generating new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing business customers
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound calls and business development activity
  • Handle inbound sales enquiries, identifying customer needs and recommending suitable solutions
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities to maximise conversions
  • Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Maintain accurate customer records using the company CRM system
  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships through regular communication
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to wider team objectives
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure a high level of customer service throughout the sales process

Requirements
  • Previous B2B sales experience is essential
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a successful team
Desirable Skills
  • Experience within an internal sales or account management role
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines
  • Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills
  • Experience working in a target-driven sales environment
