We’re working with a well-regarded property business in Cumbria looking for a Lettings Negotiator for a fixed term maternity cover position. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who thrives in a busy and varied environment.
This is a fast-paced, front-facing role where you’ll handle everything from enquiries and viewings to preparing tenancy paperwork and ensuring full compliance. You’ll work closely with the wider property and lettings team, providing a smooth and professional experience for both tenants and landlords.
This role would suit someone with previous lettings or estate agency experience, or someone from a strong customer service background looking to develop their career in property. A full UK driving licence is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage front desk and reception duties, offering a high standard of service
- Respond to lettings enquiries and conduct property viewings
- Prepare rental appraisals, tenancy agreements and referencing checks
- Coordinate move-ins and tenancy commencements
- Maintain compliance with legislation, policies and industry standards
- Build strong working relationships with tenants, landlords and stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processes
- Generate new business and contribute to team income targets
- Experience in lettings or estate agency is desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
