This is an exciting opportunity to join a Business IT Support company based in Carlisle. You will be covering the Cumbria area, in a reactive role predominantly on-site for well-established commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Working on installation and migration projects
- Hands on knowledge of server hardware
- Configuration tasks and operating backup systems
- Microsoft Server Operating systems
- Server Hardware Maintenance
- Microsoft 365
- VOIP / Hosted Telephony
- Unifi Wireless equipment
- Network cabling
- VPN Networking
- Network security
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Occasional office-based duties such as solving IT queries and issues via remote and 1st line support
Skills and Experience:
- Experience having worked in a 3rd line support role is essential
- Problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills
- Good knowledge of IP networking
- Excellent hardware, software and network knowledge is required
- You must have a full clean driving license and be prepared to travel across the Cumbria area
