Overview
NXT Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and growing automotive group to recruit a vehicle valeter for their state-of-the-art preparation center in Penrith.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and expanding team, responsible for preparing used vehicles to the highest standard before they are presented for sale. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles meet the company’s quality standards and are ready for customers.
This position would suit someone who is hardworking, reliable, and has a genuine interest in the automotive industry. Previous valeting experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and prepare used vehicles to a high standard, ready for sale
Complete interior and exterior valeting of vehicles
Carry out vehicle preparation tasks including washing, polishing, vacuuming, and
detailing
Ensure vehicles are presented in line with company standards
Identify and report any issues or defects during the preparation process
Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Use valeting equipment and products safely and effectively
Work efficiently as part of a team to meet preparation deadlines
Support the wider preparation centre team as required
Requirements
Full UK driving license held for a minimum of 12 months
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
Hardworking and reliable approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive environment
Desirable Skills
Previous experience in vehicle valeting, detailing, or automotive preparation
Interest in cars and the automotive industry
Experience using professional cleaning products and equipment
