We are recruiting a part-time finance officer to join our growing finance team at an established international manufacturing and distribution company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in accounts administration who is looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a finance officer, you will be responsible for managing purchase and sales ledger activities, reconciling banks and other accounts, and supporting multi-currency transactions. If you have strong numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in accounts, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Help to maintain the purchase ledger and sales ledger
- Accurately process supplier and customer invoices
- Reconcile banks and other accounts
- Perform statement reconciliations
- Handle multi-currency transactions (USD, EUR, GBP) and currency conversions
- Assist with month-end accounts processes
- Use Microsoft Excel extensively, including pivot tables, for data management
- Provide support to the finance team with ad hoc accounts administration
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial data
About you:
- Proven experience in an accounts role, ideally in purchase and sales ledger and reconciliation work
- Strong numerical ability with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working with multiple currencies
- Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables
- Accounts qualification or working towards one (AAT or similar preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
