NXT Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an Office Administrator on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Carlisle. This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys keeping things organised, supporting a busy team, and being at the heart of day-to-day office operations. Reporting to the Business Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will provide administrative and basic finance support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office. This is a part-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3pm.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • General office administration including filing, scanning, and document management
  • Answering phone calls and emails and dealing with enquiries professionally
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based filing systems
  • Raising sales invoices and assisting with invoicing processes
  • Using Sage 200 for invoicing and basic finance administration
  • Assisting with purchase orders and other finance-related administration
  • Ordering office supplies and monitoring stock levels
  • Organising meetings and supporting wider business coordination
  • Keeping the office clean, tidy, and presentable, including shared areas
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the wider team as required
