NXT Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established professional services firm to recruit a Business Relationship Manager. This is a key, client-facing role focused on managing and developing long-term client relationships while delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services.

The Role

  • As a Business Relationship Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • The role combines technical delivery with relationship management, commercial insight, and proactive support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of approximately 50-100 clients.
  • Deliver a consistently high-quality, proactive client service.
  • Identify opportunities to add value and introduce additional services.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and within agreed budgets.
  • Plan, prepare, review, and present financial accounts to a high standard.
  • Prepare business tax computations for review.
  • Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Maintain accounting records and management information as required.
  • Produce management reports and provide insight to improve profitability and cash flow.
  • Resolve client queries promptly and professionally.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support business planning and development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory and legislative changes.
  • Attend client premises where required and support ad-hoc projects.
