Overview

NXT Recruitment is working in partnership with an award winning producer of fresh eggs near Penrith to recruit Poultry Operatives to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and successful business, supporting the day to day care and welfare of livestock while maintaining high standards across the site. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. This role would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking, and has a positive attitude with a genuine interest in animal care and working within an agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily care and welfare of poultry
  • Maintain high standards of animal welfare and ensure birds are cared for appropriately
  • Carry out routine checks and monitor the condition of livestock
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the site
  • Follow company procedures and welfare guidelines
  • Assist with general farm and production duties as required
  • Work safely and efficiently as part of a dedicated team
  • Maintain excellent standards throughout daily operations
