This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning team where you’ll play a key role in driving business growth by developing new customer relationships and managing existing accounts. Working within a fast-paced B2B environment, you’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating new business, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. This role would suit an ambitious sales professional with a proven B2B sales background who enjoys building relationships, working towards targets, and being proactive in generating new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing business customers
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound calls and business development activity
- Handle inbound sales enquiries, identifying customer needs and recommending suitable solutions
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities to maximise conversions
- Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to completion
- Maintain accurate customer records using the company CRM system
- Build and develop long-term customer relationships through regular communication
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to wider team objectives
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a high level of customer service throughout the sales process
Requirements
- Previous B2B sales experience is essential
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a successful team
- Experience within an internal sales or account management role
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines
- Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills
